RNZAF Base Auckland Visit – Tuesday, 20 August 2019 at 1625h (Bus leaves Northern Club at 1545h)

The Base Commander Auckland and Commanding Officer 40 Squadron would like to invite members of the Officers’ Club to visit the Base and SQN on Tuesday, 20 August 2019.

We will arrive at the Main Gate no later than 1625h. We will then proceed onto Base where the CO 40 SQN will provide an introductory brief followed by a walkthrough of the Boeing B-757 and C-130H aircraft hosted by SQN personnel.

This will be followed by a Meet and Greet in the Officers’ Mess from approx. 1730h until about 1900h.

If interested, please reply ASAP to beryl.oldham@gmail.com – we need to know names and numbers ASAP so we can:

• supply a list of names to the Base no later than August 16th.
• arrange transport to the Base to and from the Northern Club. (Please note: Bus will leave Northern Club no later than 1545h.)

Those of you making your own way to the Base, please make sure you are there in plenty of time to join the bus when it arrives, as the bus will be our transport on and around the Base.

Please note you will need to bring with you photo ID (such as your driving licence or passport) to enter the base.
